Mason Williams is a Grammy and Emmy Award winning classical guitarist, composer, singer, writer and poet, best known for his song “Classical Gas” and for his work as a comedy writer on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, Saturday Night Live and a variety of TV specials for Andy Williams and Petula Clark. Mason has recorded more than 20 albums, five of which were on the Warner Bros. label. He has performed hundreds of live concerts, including performances with over 40 symphony orchestras. His music compositions have been featured in many movies and television series, including The Sopranos and The Queen’s Gambit. His artwork is part of numerous private collections and at the Smithsonian, MOMA (NYC) and was included in the Norton Simon Museum exhibition Radical Past.
