Calli Carvajal
WIG DESIGNER
Born into a world of creative arts, Calli Carvajal was immersed in the captivating tapestry of San Francisco’s performing arts, where the influences of theater, music, Classical ballet, and Rock ‘n’ Roll shaped her artistic spirit. Guided by her family’s rich heritage, she embarked on a journey of singing, dancing, and artistic exploration.
In 2001, Calli followed her heart to the bustling metropolis of New York City to pursue her love for hair and wigs. Her dedication led her to master cut and color techniques at the esteemed Aveda Institute New York. Venturing beyond the salon, she made her mark backstage at fashion shows and found her place within the vibrant underground Club/Art/Fashion scene, where her raw talent and distinctive style set her apart.
It was her boundless creativity and undeniable edge that propelled her into the realms of celebrity, entertainment, and theater. Establishing herself as a formidable force, Calli honed her craft, designing wigs and hair pieces for The Presidio Theatre’s Panto in the Presidio productions, Opera San Jose, and various theater spectacles across the Bay Area and New York City.
