Bill Keck
MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Bill Keck was Musical Director of Steve Silver’s Beach Blanket Babylon in San Francisco for 26 years. Bill studied piano with Soulima Stravinsky and worked theatrically with E.Y. Harburg, Sheldon Harnick, and Alan Menken. His tenure with singer and RCA artist John Gary spanned five nationwide tours, symphony concerts, showroom acts, and recordings. For five years he was guest conductor for Milwaukee’s Music Under the Stars. Bill ushered in the Millennium by conducting chanteuse Raquel Bitton’s Edith Piaf national concert tour, including three performances at New York City’s Carnegie Hall. He dedicates any and every musical experience to the memory of his wife Starry.
