Giordano Dance Chicago
Now in its 63rd Season, the Giordano Dance Company from Chicago makes its San Francisco debut at the Presidio Theatre. America’s original jazz dance company continues to redefine and expand the very definition of jazz dance and is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Giordano Technique emphasizing a deep plié, rhythmic complexity, and an elegant style with kinetic urgency. This iconic organization will present an evening of quintessentially American music including the premiere of Gershwin in B – A Tribute to the Music of George Gershwin by the Emmy Award-winning and “So You Think You Can Dance” choreographer Al Blackstone.

What time do doors open?
For most performances, the lobby opens one hour before showtime and the auditorium opens 30 minutes before showtime.
Are there concessions?
Yes for most performances we offer snacks, soft drinks, beer, and wine. Please note beverages are allowed in the auditorium, but food is only allowed in the lobby.
