Spend this year’s Mid-Autumn Moon Festival with the Del Sol Quartet and San Francisco’s poet-laureate Genny Lim, as they turn their gaze to the full moon in a journey of reflection and renewal.
Voices of mothers and daughters, across continents and generations, anchor this world premiere multimedia performance, featuring new poetry by Lim interwoven with new music and interviews by Chinese diaspora composers Vivian Fung, Meilina Tsui, and Theresa Wong. The Del Sol Quartet centers the collaboration, building on their transformative Angel Island Project, with a theatrical visual experience by Olivia Ting and Mark Hellar amplified by dancer Lynn Huang.
This project is made possible in part by a grant from The Creative Work Fund (a program of the Walter and Elise Haas Fund that also is supported by The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation), the California Arts Council (a state agency), the Phyllis C. Wattis Foundation, New Music USA Organization Fund, and Grants for the Arts.

For most performances, the lobby opens one hour before showtime and the auditorium opens 30 minutes before showtime.
Yes for most performances we offer snacks, soft drinks, beer, and wine. Please note beverages are allowed in the auditorium, but food is only allowed in the lobby.
