Direct from the Basque Country for one night only on the West Coast, this is a rare chance to experience Basque history through a dynamic, documentary-style performance. Pianist Josu Okiñena weaves together narration, live music, and visual storytelling to bring the composers, influences, and identity behind the music vividly to life. He's joined by Garikoitz Mendizabal, whose masterful command of the traditional txistu roots the program in centuries of tradition, and Noelia Ibáñez, whose powerful vocals add a bold, contemporary edge. Together, they create an evening that's immersive, personal, and unforgettable.
