Now in its 63rd Season, the Giordano Dance Company from Chicago makes its San Francisco debut at the Presidio Theatre. America’s original jazz dance company continues to redefine and expand the very definition of jazz dance and is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Giordano Technique emphasizing a deep plié, rhythmic complexity, and an elegant style with kinetic urgency. This iconic organization will present an evening of quintessentially American music including Gershwin in B – A Tribute to the Music of George Gershwin by the Emmy Award-winning and “So You Think You Can Dance” choreographer Al Blackstone.
