World Premiere! Robert Moses’ KIN presents an evening of repertory favorites alongside the premiere of The Soft Solace of a Slightly Descended Lost Life (Suck It), an immersed performance focused on fractured heritage, risk, and theft of solace and safety from everyday life. Poetically transcribed through dance, spoken word, suspended sculptural installation, and projection design.

 


 

 


Pre-show Reception, April 1

Robert Moses’ KIN will host a limited capacity pre-show reception on Friday, April 1 at 6pm outside in the Presidio Theatre Plaza. Hor d’houerves refreshments, wine, and beer will be served.  Catering provided by Cow Hollow Catering, a big supporter of Robert Moses’ KIN, who has worked many years with the dance community including, Ethnic Dance Festival, Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekui, City Ballet, Smuin Ballet, SF International Hip Hop Festival, Lines Ballet, Marin Dance Theatre, and more! Live, Love and DANCE! Tickets are available as an add-on during the checkout process.

 


Creative Team

Celebrating their 27th season, San Francisco-based Robert Moses’ KIN is known for demanding choreography, ferocious dancing, and provocative themes.  Soft Solace features the diverse dancers of Robert Moses’ KIN, choreography, storytelling and sound design by Moses, with collaborators Eugene Korsunskiy (sculpture), Ian Winters (projections), PC Muñoz (voice), Chris Griffin (lighting), and Jamielyn Duggan (costumes).

COVID-19 Safety

We are updating our COVID-19 policy to align with the regulations issued by the City of San Francisco. As of April 1, 2022, we will no longer require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test to enter the Presidio Theatre.

Masks are strongly encouraged for our guests. While the performers will be unmasked, all staff members of the Presidio Theatre will continue to wear masks.

 

Ticketing

Ticket prices are subject to change. The Presidio Theatre allows returns up to 48 hours in advance of a performance. Processing fees cannot be refunded. For more information, please see the theatre’s Return Policy.
